Who it's for
Exam in-charges, examination committees, principals and teachers who arrange seating for unit tests, half-yearly, annual and pre-board exams.
What you get
Classes mixed for you
Students of the same class are kept from sitting side by side or front to back wherever possible; if a pair can't be avoided, you're told.
Your rooms, your benches
Set rows, benches and one or two seats per bench for every room; mark absent or exempt students.
Notices and master list
Room grids with the board at the front, door notices with roll-number ranges per class, and a searchable master list.
PDF and Excel
Download everything as PDF or Excel, or save the plan and open it again later.

Frequently asked questions
Is the seating plan tool free?
Yes. It uses no AI and no credits, and works on every account, including free ones.
How many rooms and students can I add?
It depends on your plan. Free accounts have smaller limits; paid plans allow more rooms, students and saved plans. The page always shows your limits.
Can I mix classes in a room?
Yes. Choose “mix” to seat different classes next to each other, or “together” to keep each class together.
What if there are more students than seats?
The summary tells you how many seats are short so you can add a room or benches.
Can I change the plan after making it?
Yes. “Shuffle again” makes a new arrangement, and saved plans can be opened, edited and duplicated.
